E.        Education Level and Field of Study Requirements:

·       Related Bachelors or higher degree (PLM or EM degree a plus) with 5+ years in-house experience required or equivalent combination of education and experience

·       Broad-based knowledge of all facets of production land work

·       Knowledge of Oil & Gas law, real estate law, contract law and general knowledge of Federal, State, or other regulatory requirements, laws, rules, and regulations.

F.      Experience Requirements:  Technical Skills, Business Knowledge, and Other Experience Requirements:

·       Familiar with staking and permitting of wells, including, but not limited to BLM, State and other issues related to the staking and permitting of wells.

·       Solid understanding of US mineral and surface ownership principles including regulatory, title and curative documents.

G.  B   Behavioral competencies:   

·       Computer literate with proven ability to utilize Microsoft Office products and familiarity with land system software.

·       Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and written.

H .  .  Key Deliverables: 

·       Negotiate and prepare various lease agreements, surface use agreements, easements, rights of way road use and cost sharing agreements, with industry partners, competitors, and land owners.

·       Analysis and recommendations relative to the negotiation and drafting of complex agreements, and close those agreements with industry partners, competitors, and land owners.

·       Direct activities of contract brokers to achieve timely results in support of drilling program.

·       Settling surface and crop damage claims with surface owners.

·       Represent the company in dealing with surface owners, the Bureau of Land Management (BLM), or state agencies in a fair and equitable manner.

·       Provide all Land support to assigned areas of

·       responsibility with technical peers and other departments in support of company`s active program.

·       Title verification for drilling operations and due diligence for roll-up and acquisitions
